Mark is a co-founder of Burn City Legal. He teamed up with Younis in 2020 to create a different kind of law firm that is modern, professional and with a reputation of going the extra mile in turning over all rocks for clients to find a defence.

Having previously volunteered at Fitzroy Legal Service, the Asylum Seeker Resources Centre and Refugee Legal, Mark has deep interest in human rights in has advocacy for clients in criminal law and personal injury.

Mark has a high success rate in advising clients to contest charges when prosecutors refuse to withdraw them. He has experience in both serious indictable crime matters in the County and Supreme Courts as well as summary crime matters in the Magistrates’ Court. 

Mark comes from a background of film making, design and technology having led marketing in Australia for audio brand Sonos, and interface design strategy at MYOB.
