Robbery & Burglary

Robbery and Burglary charges are indictable offences and relate to theft of property in a person’s home or on a person.

Minor circumstances of robbery and burglary are heard in the Magistrates’ Court. However, these charges are often heard in the County Court as they are considered serious charges and often accompany aggravating circumstances such as use of weapons and violence.
